Is there an entrance fee?
No, the tournament is completely free to enter
Can I still play if I missed round 1?
Yes!
You can choose to play as many rounds as you like.
Only the scores from your best 4 rounds are counted towards the final leaderboard.
Do you have to be a UniMelb student to participate?
No, the tournament is open to all students in Melbourne
Which division (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) can I play in?
The choice is completely left up to you.
We recommend you play:

Beginner, if you have never or only played poker a handful number of times.

Intermediate, if you casually play poker every now and then.

Advanced, if you play poker regularly and have at least some confidence in your poker abilities.
Can I switch divisions mid-way through the tournament?
Yes - you can.
However, your scores from your old division will not carry over to your new division.
How long does the round run for?
Each round lasts 2 hours, with blinds increasing every 30 minutes.
You need to play for at least 30 minutes for your scores to count.
